Description:
Audition for an indie feature film called "Sisters of Suburbia" which paints the picture of several suburban housewives torn between adhering to the traditional role of the Southern woman, or leaving expectations behind in search their own identity. They will find that neither choice is simple, but are not alone in their pursuit of happiness and clarity.
Film South along with ArtWest Film are currently casting for Sisters of Suburbia promotional trailer and related marketing to secure additional financing and we will be casting for principal and supporting roles for the feature film in the process.
Please submit an acting resume, headshot, and reel, if available to casting@artwestfilm.com. We will be scheduling auditions for Saturday July 11th from 4-9 p.m. in Atlanta for those candidates that we would like to see in person. We will contact you no later than Friday night at 6 p.m.. to let you know if you are a finalist and provide you with character backgrounds and scripts. Due to the enormous interest in the film, we might not be able to respond to each submission individually, but if you do not hear from us, then we appreciate your interest and hope that something might work for a future project.
Sisters of Suburbia will film this Summer in Tennessee, and possibly Georgia. We want to see everyone and will base our decision on raw talent alone, so Union/Nonunion are welcome.
