ctor/Director Nicky Feliz & indie company DelinkwEnt Studios, (recently associated to projects with groups such as Roc-la-Familia and Dungeon Familia in the Atlanta music scene for years), are now casting various roles for their 1st feature film. "Bittersweet" is a "spanglish" urban tale of unbaring pain, love, deceit and revenge. Filming will take place mostly in the metro Atlanta area starting Summer 2011. This production is already expected to be viewed at Sundance and the ATLFF 2012 through encouraging investors, as well as submitted to dozens of other film festivals throughout the US, Europe and Canada. Distribution for the film and/or DVD to be available on Amazon.com, Comcast On Demand and Netflix is also being considered.
*All actors will receive IMDb credit besides film credit and a HD copy of final product. This film will also have a wrap party & local red-carpet premiere for Cast, Crew and friends that will ultimately be another opportunity to network in the city that’s now being called Hollywood of the South, Atlanta of course. Meals for cast and crew WILL be provided. This is an unbelievable opportunity for huge exposure and the chance to be viewed by tons of audiences around the world, but...initially there WILL NOT be compensation available for this film!
This is our first film production so we're looking to build from here on forward and possibly create an "acting/working family" for future productions already on roster.

‘Bittersweet’ (Short) Character Breakdown
• Johnny Perez/Hispanic Male/25-30 yrs old.
Lead - Head of his household, humble husband, friend and father, that’s very protective of his family. Was enlisted in the Military after high school and returned home after 7 years to take care of his family after his Father death. He was injured in Afghanistan on his last tour and was also left an inheritance by his Father of an unknown amount. Has been married to “Kat” for 10 years and is Father to “Princess”.
• Greco Bonilla/Hispanic Male/25-30 yrs old.
Main - Successful business owner and family man as well. Gives off a uneasy vibe at times and is a long time friend of Johnny.
• Kathy “Kat” Perez/Any ethnicity Female/22-25 yrs old.
Main - Loving wife to Johnny and nurturing mother to little “Princess”, she carries herself with a sense of independence. Gets along with Greco’s wife.
• Don “Moreno”/Hispanic Male or African American Male/30-35 yrs old.
Supporting - Rugged, tattooed and scarred. A delinquent business owner in his own that has an eerie personality and a thick Spanish accent that speaks “broken down” English. If there is anything happening in the barrio that’s on a “need to know” basis, he knows it. Has a small army of thugs that follow his lead.
• “Papo”/Hispanic Male or African American Male/18-25 yrs old.
Supporting - Young and motivated with a cocky demeanor. Seems to be a leader amongst Dons gang and is always following in Dons shadow.
• Junior/Any Ethnicity Male/18-25 yrs old.
Character - Johnny's younger brother and considered by many as the "black sheep" of the family. He out casts himself most of the time and is tired of living under his brothers shadow.
• “El Chino”/Any ethnicity Male/20-25 yrs old.
Character - Average hustler with a sense of urgency. He knows the information that helps define the facts; so he is key.
• Storeowner/Any ethnicity Male/30-35 yrs old.
Character - A crooked, slick talking yet desperate business owner that owes money to the wrong people more than likely due to some ill addiction he has.
• Store Employee/Any ethnicity or gender/18-25 yrs old.
Character - A wise cracking, bored, slick talking part time employee that helps add some comic relief.
• “Princess”/Any ethnicity Female/3-6 yrs old.
Character - (No Dialogue) Sweet, innocent daughter of Johnny and Kat.
• “Justin”/Any ethnicity Male/3-6 yrs old.
Character - (No Dialogue) Sweet, innocent son of Greco.
• Extras/Any ethnicity, age or gender.
Some more featured than others, but generally no dialogue.
Including; Greco’s wife and son, thugs, patrons, kids and more.
