My name is Tony Voorhees. I am casting for a Crime Drama film at the Professional Actors Studio on Sunday July 24 from 10-3 pm. The project is for credits only. I wrote the story and had Michael Harper write the screenplay.I have assembled the best DP, sound and editors to cut the images into a short film to be submitted to the Sundance and Tribeca film festivals. The roles are as follows:
Tommy-Lead/Male/Caucasian/25-30/5'9"-6'1"
Tommy is an edgy streeywise criminal .He's a sociopath who feels that the way life has treated him badly ,gives him the right to act the way he does. He is a lover but has no problem being a fighter.
Nancy-Lead/Female/Caucasian/21-25/5'2"-5'8"
Nancy is a beautiful girl inside and out. Trgic events in her life have caused her to gravitate to the life of a stripper at the top club in Atlanta. She is very intelligent and well spoken. She falls in love with Tommy and tries to get him out of the life.
Reggie-Supporting Male/Caucasian/Male/35-40
Reggie has been a drug dealer all his life. He is a real bad guy. He is a violent psychopath that has a gang of bad people in his employ.He ahs a chance meeting with Tommy and decides to become his defacto mentor
Heather-Supporting Female/18-21/5'2"-5"8"/Caucasian
Heather is a crazy party girl who tends bar at a trendy club in Atlanta. She is either drunk or hungover . She used to date Tommy , but was too much drama. She now works for him in the drug business.
Storyline: Tommy is a tough street wise kid from a bad background , who gets involved with some career criminals that are not the friends he thinks they are. His girlfriend tries to get him away from the business.
