Facebook fan bookers:

I truly love how every Tom, Dick, and Harry on the internet, manly facebook throws out their "great" ideas on storylines and booking, like it is breaking news and state of the art. I think to myself, "Man, why didn't I think of that". No, honestly I am thinking "What a Dolt"!

I warned everyone that reads this site for weeks that reporters, want-to-be internet journalist, and armchair bookers would be put on blast. You see, it is easy to get on a message board, facebook, or even twitter and ramble on about what is right and wrong and how they know it all. Here is the kicker, what if their opinions and reports where critiqued? I am willing; no I am positive that the Captain Keyboards of the internet would get their panties in a bunch.

First there is this gem from the RPW facebook page:
Avery Edwards I have a solution to end this feud. On 8-7 put them in a non-title street fight. On 8-21 let Lava pick Suspect’s opponents and vice versa. Then at the 3-year show, Suspects vs. Lava in a lumberjack match with the belts on the line. If Lava loses they lose the titles and if Suspects lose their partnership ends.

Yo Avery, this is totally ridiculous, the 8-7 thing makes no sense, 8-21 is even more idiotic, and then your last suggestion is the same thing you suggest for AAA and the Cop, good job Chuck'o...NOT! Oh and for your suggestions on Talent, please….I would love to see any of them last a minute with Bull Buchanan or Doug Sommers.

Now it is the other Facebook fanatic/ internet journalist/reporter newbie’s turn. Daniel Lumm. Young Mr. Lumm actually has potential. This kid, or as he refers to himself “Kyd” puts some effort into his work. The damn kid wrote a novel on the last RPW show report he did, but there where flaws, which you better bet your flat white ass I will point out. First, if I point blank tell you to mention how good I look in my tights then you better damn well do it; refs have been slapped for less. What young Mr. Lumm lacks is details to the moves, for example:

Kyle manages to take control and hot tags Ace Rockwell as Cru tags in. Matthews takes Cru out of the ring while Rockwell whirls Banks and locks in a Sharpshooter.

Now….What really happened was… Ace hit the ring like a house of fire bumping Banks and Cru like two J-Rod Mexican jumping beans. Banks ended up in Ace’s airplane spin then simultaneously clotheslined Cru with Banks feet, sending cru out of the ring. A split second later Kyle came off the top rope and double stomped Banks while he was still in Ace’s airplane spin, and then dived out of the ring onto Cru like a bat out of hell. Banks missed with wild dizzy punches in which Ace locked in the sharpshooter on Banks’ last wild miss.

BIG DIFFERENCE

Next, get the details right. I call this mistake a “Ben Masters”. Each move usually has its own unique name, not every move is a suplex, which tends to happen a lot on RPW TV….hmmm not sure what move that was…”oh what a suplex”!
Example A: Matthews gets on the turnbuckle and lands a Cross Body. When attempting to do it a second time, Banks avoids it and Cru catches him. Cru throws Matthews to Banks, who lands a Cutter and makes the pin to retain the titles.

Now what really happened….Matthews comes off the top and double drop kicks Banks & Cru at the same time with one foot connecting to each member of Hot Like Lava. Matthews goes to the top immediately and attempts a cross body off the top rope, Cru pushes Banks out of the way and catches Kyle in mid-air. Cru then Gorilla presses Kyle up into the air where Banks catches Kyle with an Ace Crusher (not a cutter, stunner, or RKO) in mid air on the way down to the mat.

Once again, Big Difference.

You see intrigued reader; Young Daniel is an avid fan and most defiantly wants to break into the mysterious world of professional wrestling. Thus far the power of his pen has earned him a front row seat and a trip back stage, thanks to some buffoon. They say the pen is mightier than the sword, which can be true, but in professional wrestling the sword sure as hell hurts more than the pen. A lot of guys have started out as journalist, Paul Heyman & Vince Russo come to mind, and locally Velvet Jones started that way also. Not sure about Heyman or Russo, but I know Velvet had to work every crap position and was treated like an outcast before he was in his first match, and his first match came because of a no show, so he was preferably thrown to the wolves. I knew where Velvet came from and never took it easy on him. I was always blunt with what he did wrong and what needed to be fixed. I figured if someone cannot take criticism then they are in the wrong biz. He turned out okay. So, if someone cannot take a review of their review they defiantly do not need to get deeper in this cut-throat back stabbing business.
