At Sizzlin Summer Bash on Sunday, 7-24-11, Dr. Johnny Gayton announced that 3 Time NWA World Champion, Adam Pearce would appear on 8-7-11. On 7-31-11 in Columbus, OH Adam Pearce won the NWA World Heavyweight Title for the 4th time, so now his appearance at NWA RPW will be a NWA World Title defense and his challenger will be decided the night before in a tournament in Carrollton, GA. Who will face the four time champion on Sunday?
Dr. Gayton announced at Sizzlin Summer Bash that Ring Of Honor Champion, Davey Richards will make his 1st NWA RPW appearance facing Jimmy Rave, the same man he faced in his first ROH match 5 years earlier.
The Jimmy Rave Approved team of Mike Posey, Chip Day & Corey Hollis faces a major challenge on Sunday when they face Kyle Matthews, "The Seven Figure Deal" Ace Rockwell and RPW's only Triple Crown Champion, J Rod in 6 man tag team action.
Frankie Valentine continues to chase Jeremy Vain and the NWA RPW Television title but after a time limit draw at Sizzlin Summer Bash it appeared that the chase would come to an end, until Dr. Gayton decided to make a non title match for this Sunday between Jeremy Vain and former NWA World Heavyweight Champion, Colt "Boom Boom" Cabana. If Cabana wins then Valentine gets another TV Title match with Vain and this one will have no time limit, and to make sure "Pretty Boy" Doug Sommers can't interfere Frankie Valentine will be in Cabana's corner for this match.
The Usual Suspects (AJ Steele & Murder 1) demand that they be given a NWA RPW Tag Team Title match but current champions, Hot Like Lava (Cru Jones & Shaun Banks) have not yet agreed to the match. What will happen Sunday with both teams in the building?
Plus Rob Adonis with Chalie Cash in his corner faces "Marvelous" Michael Stevens. Sal Rinauro takes on Drew Adler, and "Hit for Hire" Bobby Moore with Charlie Cash clashes with Jimmy The Kid.
