Went to the CWO show here in Milledgeville tonight. It was pretty much what I expected. Kody Jack is a little man witha big mouth. Pretty good heel stuff from him... Happy to see Jerry Lewis, Jr. after many years.... KSL and DAR won a tag team match that was so damn horrible, it never should have even happened. DAR was sloppy and stiff and KSLhas no business inside a wrestling ring. Not to mention the Junior Jr. kid who looked just as bad as KSL... Steven Stiles won their Heritage title in another sloppy match. Trained with Kennedy Riley at Rampage University a few years back, but he blew spots left and right for a good two minutes straight tonight... ...Michael Hirsch looked impressive in challenging Damien for the CWO title I never lost. Damien, on the other hand, blew up quickly as usual and looked weak for a company champion... ...Bunkhouse Stampede was underwhelming and had a few guys in there who probably wrestled about as bad as that Junior Jr. kid.
Had a conversation with a wrestler in McDomough about a possible booking here in Milledgevillle. Said wrestler told me to tell the booker his fee was $100. Nothing personal, but the ONLY thing that stands out about this guy is his look - which he copied from a 1980's - early 1990's Steve Borden (Velvet is talking about Andy Anderson, who also runs his own show-MGCW). Considering I worked his show a few months back for FREE, I thought this was a joke. The Washington Bullets - a damn impressive tag team and one of the best in the state - asked for $100 for a booking. Had it been up to me, they could have gotten it. But, again, I'm not the booker for the fed. This guy has been in the business for four years and this is he wants to charge $100 for. You be the judge. Click the link below.
The worst thing you can do in this sport is believe you own hype and become your own biggest fan. The above piece of footage is viable proof of that.
DAMN VELVET, you are brutal! I don't think MGCW will be booking Velvet again.
