According to deadline.com/hollywood, Jennifer Lopez has been cast in What To Expect When You're Expecting alongside Cameron Diaz, Mathew Morrison and Isla Fisher. The website says that "Lopez will play Holly in one of the film's interlocking stories, a woman who adopts a baby from abroad with her husband after difficulty conceiving." Rumors are that Ed Helms, a native Atlantan and hot soaring star thanks to The Hangover movies and TV's The Office, may soon be signed for the film that is slated to start filming in the metro area in July and wrap in mid-September. The film is scheduled for a Mother's Day weekend 2012 release.
American Reunion has been shooting scenes all over the metro area, including the Dark Horse Tavern, Simply Southern Bake Shop in Monroe, Heritage High School, Newton County High School in Covington, downtown Conyers and Costley Mill Park. According to rockdalenews.com, the production is using the same warehouse space as Fast Five.
Jennifer Hudson and Jane Lynch were scheduled to hit Atlanta at the end of June for their roles in The Three Stooges, which continues shooting in the area through mid-July. Among recent filming sites were Sugarloaf Country Club, the Fairlie-Poplar area downtown, Midtown, Druid Hills, Cartersville, and Stone Mountain, the latter locale was used a zoo scene.

AMC has returned to Atlanta and central Georgia for the second season of their hit series The Walking Dead. The network has ordered 13 episodes this round instead of last year's six. Scenes have been shot at the Hurt Building and Wheat St. in downtown Atlanta, the Goat Farm property on the West Side, Highway 20 in Hampton and Cobb Parkway. Newnan High School was to be used for a multi-day shoot (as an abandoned FEMA camp) in early July. Collider.com reports that Shaun of the Dead director and co-writer Edgar Wright may direct an upcoming episode.
Atlanta-based comic Steve Harvey is moving production of TV's Family Feud from Orlando to Atlanta for the 2011 -2012 season. During his first season, Harvey gained clout as the show's new host thanks to a ratings boost over previous host John O'Hurley. Harvey will also host his nationally syndicated radio show, heard locally on Majic 107.5 and 97.5, out of Atlanta.
Season two of BET's Let's Stay Together, starring Erica Hubbard, Joyful Drake, Nadine Ellis and RonReaco Lee, will be filming in Atlanta from July 7 through August 26. On June 16, BET also began filming the comedy Reed Between The Lines, starring Tracee Ellis Ross and Malcolm-Jamal Warner, in Atlanta. The project will be on ground through October.
For its fourth season Bravo will shoot 12 episodes of the reality show Tabatha's Salon Takeover in Atlanta from July 1 through October 1. The show follows Australian stylist Tabatha Coffey, a former contestant on Bravo's Shear Genius, as she remakes area salons and their owners.
