OFFICIAL CASTING CALL:
Casting the following roles for the feature length indie thriller "Virginia." The original script was a finalist at Shriekfest.
John - (caucasian, late 30's - mid 40's) fit, fairly clean cut, firefighter
Lionel - (caucasian, late 30's - mid 40's) thin, medium to long hair preferred, drug dealer
Matt "Motormouth" - (caucasian, late 30's - mid 40's) the salesman, professional liar
Simon - (caucasian, 40's) bearded, biker type (doesn't have to be fully bearded, but the rougher, the better)
Bobby - (40's - 60's, flexible on the age/ethnicity) bartender
Nick - (20's) clean cut but listens to punk, DNA lab rat
Juliet - (20's) pale, attractive in her own way, DNA lab rat
Young Virginia - (caucasian, 8-11) check out our Facebook and Indiegogo campaign to compare to Virginia, not looking for a perfect match
Lionel, Matt, John, and Simon account for about 20% of the script each. They are the men that Virginia believes could be her father. Really need to fill these roles. Offering $50/day up to $200 total. Each actor should not be needed for more than 4 days of shooting, but a 5th day might be necessary. More details available if needed.
The rest of the roles will only pay $50-100 depending on role. Bobby is a one day shoot. Young Virginia is a one day shoot. We have some people in mind for Nick and Juliet but are open to the best person for the role.
Credit, DVD screener, and meals will be provided. Also offering optional deferred payment/co-producer or associate producer credit instead of pay for those who would be willing to go that route.
Production begins the first weekend of May and will be shot primarily near Edgefield, SC/Augusta, GA. Some scenes will be shot in Columbia, SC.
