CASTING CALLS :: Independent Student Film -

CASTING CALL FOR INDEPENDENT FILM

Director Trey Volpe is looking to cast three, brave lead actors/actresses in his gritty, thrilling, original short film Vault 255.

The story explores the revenge of a gutsy heroine in a post-apocalyptic world where the people are as grimy as the air and seduction is a weapon most valuable. The script involves sexual implications and mild physical combat.

CHARACTERS:

Girl. 18 – late 20’s. A defiant heroine with a passionate agenda. Manipulative and wily, but able to play naïve. Powerful. Must be comfortable being touched in sensitive areas (as of right now – thigh, chest, and neck; specifics can be redefined, depending on comfortabi¬lity of actress). Basic stage/simulated combat experience is beneficial.

Man. Late 20’s – late 40’s. Dangerously charming with the ability to strike with force at any given moment. Suave and severe. Must be comfortable simulating smoking a cigar. Basic stage/simulated combat experience preferred.

Ranger. Male. Mid 20’s – late 30’s. Physically imposing cowboy type. Seemingly straightforward with a glint in his eyes that questions his allegiance. Must be able to drive a pickup truck.
