Monstrosity Championship Wrestling with Metal Gaga
So now that Lady Gaga has recently canceled her  tour schedule (including Atlanta), what’s a good Little Monster to do? Go see Metal Gaga rock it out at Monstrosity Championship Wrestling, of course! Well, only if you like heavy metal, that is – because this cover band will be rockin’ Gaga songs harder than Gaga’s hips have been throwing down in her concerts. (Lady Gaga will have hip surgery soon. We wish her well on her recovery and rescheduled concert tour.)
Monstrosity Championship Wrestling will once again take the ring in Famous Pub for bouts not to be missed as they will crown their first champion ever! Monstrosity Championship Wrestling celebrates Wrestling With Pop Culture’s second year anniversary party with loads of ghoul, werewolf, vampire, and zombie wrestling. A wicked evil belt has been designed by Atlanta’s own ghoulish Professor Morte with the help of human Shane Morton. Professor Morte will be around to MC the event as well as ring side host El Phantasmas. Metal Gaga will perform sets all throughout the night during wrestling intermissions. There’s even a promise special appearance from Ghouella DeVille, Atlanta’s Ghoul-y Girl Pin-Up Extraordinaire.
Semi-final matches will be held between “Bona Fide” Fred Yehi and voodoo ghoul Papa Marko versus “The Undead Luchador” Supernatural. There will be a queer tag team bar brawl between Dragula and Johnny Danger against the intolerant Alabama Wolfman and the Kentucky Wolfman. Quozzy Quozzbourne will bring the St. Patrick’s Day leprechaun out early and Dark Mon promises to preach his early Easter sermon to the evils of MCW.
If you have never been to a Monstrosity Championship Wrestling event, then you should definitely attend as these wrestlers will give you a show that is as brilliant or better (Hey, there’s MONSTERS!!) as the pros do on television. Wrestling with Pop Culture Founder and Blogger, Jonathan Williams, will be on hand to make sure the event goes smoothly and that you get your raffle prize (but only if you buy a raffle ticket). Raffle prizes include glorious MCW t-shirts, monster chocolates from Chocolate F/X, accessories from Diamond*Star*Halo, artwork from H.C. Warner’s Munkeytown, and a “box of meat.” Yup, you know you want to win Mr. Williams, MCW, and the Silver Scream Spook Show crews’ infamous “box of meat” from Pine Street Market. Sponsor Cayrum rum will have delicious concoctions available to drink and there will be monstrous beauties supporting the bouts.
